AFUN Account Verification (KYC): When It’s Required And What You’ll Need
AFUN runs KYC checks to confirm identity, residential address, and payment ownership before it processes certain withdrawals and in cases where account activity needs a compliance review.
- Identity (ID/Passport): AFUN requests a clear photo or scan of a government-issued document (passport, national ID card, or driver’s licence). The file must show the full document, all corners, your name, date of birth, document number, issue/expiry dates, and a readable photo. AFUN may also ask for a selfie or short live-check video to match the face to the document.
- Address proof: AFUN asks for a document that shows your full name and current residential address, issued within the last 90 days. Accepted examples include a utility bill (electricity, gas, water), bank statement, or official government letter. Screenshots are rejected when they cut off the issuer details or the issue date.
- Payment method: AFUN verifies that the deposit method belongs to you when you withdraw or when payment risk checks trigger. For bank cards, AFUN requests photos of the front and back; you must mask the middle digits so only the first 6 and last 4 are visible, and cover the CVV. For e-wallets, AFUN requests a screenshot of the wallet profile page showing your name and account ID/email plus a transaction record that matches an AFUN deposit. For bank transfers, AFUN requests a statement or account page showing your name and IBAN/account number.
AFUN typically asks for KYC at the first withdrawal, after large withdrawal requests, when you change personal details (name, address), when you add a new payment method, when multiple accounts are detected, or when logins come from a new country or device.
AFUN reviews complete KYC submissions within 24–72 hours. If images are blurred, cropped, edited, or the address document is out of date, the review resets after you re-upload the corrected files.
Current state: AFUN KYC is document-based (ID, address proof, and payment ownership) and the review window is 1–3 days once
